Series Preface
Dutch statesman Abraham Kuyper famously said, “There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not declare, ‘Mine!’” Even though virtually all evangelical pastors and teachers would agree with that statement, those same leaders struggle to understand and convey the Bible’s teachings on work, personal finance, and economic policy.
The Faith & Work series, a joint production of Fontes Press and The Faith & Work Project, aims to help Christians think carefully and biblically about:
- Vocation. Books in this series help Christians view all their labor (and the labor of their neighbors) through the lens of Scripture.
- Personal Finance. Books in this series assist Christian ministers and laypersons in thinking biblically about stewardship of their financial resources.
- Economic Policy. Books in this series aid Christians in understanding and advocating for economic policies that promote human flourishing.
The F&W series books are both faithful to Scripture and relevant to daily life. Our hope is that you will look expectantly for each new volume.
